Founder and Chief Executive Officer, TruCare

A nurse who went looking for the reason practices lose revenue, found it in credentialing and intake, and built a company around fixing it.

About

Hamza Rehman is the founder and CEO of TruCare. He trained as a nurse, worked inside growing practices, and kept seeing the same pattern: clinical teams did the work, and the money got stuck somewhere behind them. Credentialing sat unfinished. Eligibility was checked too late. Claims went out clean and came back denied for reasons nobody at the front desk could see.

He started TruCare in 2022 to close that gap. The company began as a billing and credentialing service and grew into a revenue operating system, with TruCred for credentialing and payer enrollment, TruIntake for patient access, TruRev for billing, and TruIntel for analytics. Today TruCare works with primary care, specialty groups, and telehealth companies across the United States.

Hamza writes here about the operational side of healthcare revenue. His pieces tend to start with something practical, like a provider sitting idle for 90 days waiting on a payer, and work backward to the process that allowed it. He argues for structure over heroics, and for treating billing as an operations problem rather than a clean-up job.
